| wow my xanga seriously sounds so emo...I'm ok now. I just had a seriously poopie week then, and yea. But God is good all the time =)
I really liked saturday cuz we felt so unified together after that prayer. and this week i was reading acts chapter 2 verse 1 and it says that on the day of Pentecost the disciples were together in a room. and i was just thinking, when we get together, the Holy Spirit just comes down on us and does amazing things as long as we're ready. just take saturday for instance, or the awesome hillsong united concert. two perfect examples right there.
Speaking of which, hillsong united was amazing. I really love The Stand, expecially that one line that says "I'll stand with arms high and heart abandoned" cuz it just reminds me to surrender everything to God and not try and do things in my own strength. I was also hit by how many songs talked about going out and not being ashamed of our identity in Christ so that was really sweet and encouraging.
And now...it is 12:15 am and i should probably go to sleep xD

I took my brother to play soccer today, and since I had nothing to do, I decided to spend some time just waiting on God and basking in his presence. So i popped in my earphones and started listening to my music while just soaking.
Who compares to You?

Then after a while, I opened my eyes and i saw a blue sky. not just any blue sky, but the bluest sky i have EVER seen in shanghai. It was absolutely amazing: the sun was out, the sky was blue, the clouds were white, it was just mind blowing. I wish I had a camera to capture the moment, yet at the same time I knew that no picture could ever do it justice. And I was like God You are awesome. and he was like, "You have no idea." And so i just sat there thinking, wow. God, You are so amazing that the more I see You, the more I realize that I've barely scratched the surface. There is so much more to God than I could ever realize...and that takes my breath away.
You are magnificent, eternally

Who knows? I'm probably the only person who felt that way at that moment. Yet I know without a doubt that God put me right there, right then, for a purpose. And I thank Him for it.
